Description

Itinerary: Seattle → Vancouver → Stanley Park (60 mins) → Chinatown (pass by) → Canada Place (60 mins, you can participate in the FlyOver Canada 4D experience for 30 minutes at your own expense) → Gastown Steam Clock (20 mins) → Granville Island (60 mins) → Seattle Begin by being picked up from your hotel in Seattle. Hop in your comfy van, then sit back, relax, and enjoy the views. Make your first stop Stanley Park, North America’s third largest park. Go for a walk, and watch the skaters showcasing their skills near the 5.5-mile Seawall. Marvel at the views. Next, jump back in the van and head to Chinatown, one of the largest historic Chinatowns in all of North America. Marvel at the vivid colours and vibrant culture. Listen to your guide explain how the city's Chinese population originally came to Vancouver. Take photos in front of Millennium Gate. After that, walk over to the Gastown steam clock. Let your guide tell you all about the history of the working steam clock, which is one of only a few in the world. Watch the clock whistle every 15 minutes, shooting steam from its five whistles in its version of the Westminster Chime. Continue by strolling over to Canada Place, a building located on the Burrard Inlet waterfront of Vancouver. Walk around and take in the views. Watch as your guide points out the Vancouver Convention Centre, the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, Vancouver's World Trade Center, and FlyOver Canada. Opt to purchase a ticket for FlyOver Canada (price not included), and go on a virtual flight across Canada. See the Rocky Mountains, Newfoundland's icebergs, and Niagara Falls in a unique way. Go on a virtual journey from the east coast of Canada to the west and see beautiful natural landscapes. Drive to Granville Island, and check out the indoor market. Be amazed at endless rows of stalls that feature fresh produce, gourmet foods, baked goods, and seafood. Afterwards, make your way back to Seattle, safe in the knowledge that you have ticked off several Vancouver highlights from your list.
