In this trip we experience the highlights of the Olympic peninsula! Sites include: -Hoh Rainforest, Hall of Mosses* -Ruby Beach, amazing stretch of wild beach -Quinault Rainforest hike and Quinault Lake lodge and gift shop -Lake Crescent lodge and viewpoint -Forks, Twilight welcome center (optional) -Aberdeen, see Nirvana's Kurt Cobain Memorial (optional) (*Please note, during July-August there are often 2+ hour wait times at the Hall of Mosses, so we may instead spend more time in the Quinault rainforest.) Take in the quiet other worldly appearance trees hanging with mosses in the Hall of Mosses and Quinault rainforest. Guests love this place, it has a quiet magical feel. You will love Ruby beach. One guest said: 'I loved it, I had never been to a beach like that.' Lake Crescent is so deep scientists don't even know it's true depth. You will enjoy a perfect viewpoint of one of the largest lakes on the peninsula. In the end you will and charmed and get why the Olympic Peninsula is on so many must see travel lists. The tour is designed to bring out the best of the Olympic peninsula. The local guide can share fun facts and other knowledge about the area like places to eat, and other things to see. *The tour is in English. The guide can also speak Spanish and Portuguese. *Additional or modified stops are possible based on your interests and time. A little about me: I started giving tours to share the nature that makes this area special. I grew up in the pacific northwest and have a good knowledge of the nature, history, music scene, and other fun things that you may have heard about Seattle and surrounding area. I have also visited over 100 countries and enjoy talking about travel and offering any useful tips.
