Description

Mt. Rainier is the 20th largest volcanoes in the world in terms of size. And the pictures you get will not disappoint! This tour is designed as a custom tour for groups looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience to take in the views, breathe the soothing air, and make some fun cultural and food stops along the way. This is a private group tour (minimum 5 people), please contact if you have a smaller group and would like to use this service. Rainier is also an active volcano, meaning it will likely erupt some day, but not on the day of your tour! The tour begins with a pickup at your hotel or lodging in the Seattle area. We will drive to Mt. Rainier, making a stop at a special bakery in the foothills of Mt. Rainier. We will enjoy special chocolate samples, snacks, and cools drinks along the way. We will drive up to Paradise Lodge (5,400 ft elevation) and take a hike to explore the surrounding area and take in the view. We will make a stop at the Mirror Lakes, to see the reflection in the water. We will stop at the Narada Waterfalls, an amazing set of falls formed by a combination of volcanic rock. We will stop at Christine Waterfalls, another perfectly Instagrammable waterfall. We will take a 15-minutes loop hike at Twin Firs trail to see up close some giant Douglas Fir and Cedar trees, some over 500 years old! We will make a food and rest stop at a national historic town called Elbe, which has specially painted old train that runs on the weekends.
